It’s about late nights sketching out business models on sandwich wrappers, pizza boxes, newspapers and white boards. It’s about assembling a diverse yet compatible team, with varied backgrounds and skills, securing a dedicated coach, juggling a demanding business school schedule and a lengthy international competition. It’s about being willing to toss out everything you’ve worked on at the last minute and start from scratch.

It is indeed very heartening to read the details of the tension HULT team has undergone while taking part in a competition which tested their merits and innovative idea pertaining to solution of hunger. We have enough food but the insecurity of the haves prevents it from being affordable to the havenots. Is it greed of those or the world has some kind of tendency to hoard for profits? The plight of urban poor is very well summed up in this article. They spend money which they will never earn. When Countries are disorganised in social security net for their poor citizens the plight is too much if something happens. Debts run through generations.
I am sure the synergy of the group will ensure a further detailed sustainable model of Social Entreupreunorship. Well thought ideas can surely help solve hunger issue. The currency of ethical humility and will to do something to feed every soul is a noble initiative. After reading the post I too felt a part of the team effort. How I could do something for the people around me. There is always a first step in the right direction and I feel proud my daughter Niketa took that baby step.
