The mayor will join the event on the 26th of April and host his first live ‘Google Hangout’ with top tech executives and venture capitalists in London, Silicon Valley and San Francisco. He will also deliver a speech on his hopes and plans for the future of the capital’s tech scene.

Other keynote speakers will include Rohan Silva, Senior Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister, Edmund Truell, Pension Fund Manager, Jonathan Chippindale, CEO of Holition, and Anthony Impey, CEO of Wibre/ Optimity.

The aim of the 2013 InnoTech Summit is to provide a platform to connect investors with entrepreneurs and game changing technologies in order to help develop tech startups throughout the country.

“Rather than losing out to Silicon Valley, we want to do everything we can to attract and retain the world’s brightest tech stars to boost jobs and investment in Britain,“ says Jennifer Arcuri. “My experience at Hult helped me to take my ideas beyond the classroom, and provided me with a strong foundation from which I was able to build an international technology event, the InnoTech Summit.”
